Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer 3 with a focus on municipal projects to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various phases of municipal infrastructure projects, including planning, design, and construction. Your duties will include conducting feasibility studies, preparing engineering designs and specifications, managing project budgets and schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience specifically in municipal infrastructure projects. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage municipal infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess project viability.
  • Prepare engineering designs, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project team members.
  • Resolve design and construction-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in project meetings, presentations, and discussions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on municipal projects.
  • Strong technical proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and excellence.
